Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you.

Isaiah 41:10a

Fresh out of the shower with my hair in a towel, I started my Bible study when an HVAC truck pulled up at my house. Since I was in my robe, I grabbed the house phone, called the company, and explained they were at the wrong house. The representative said, “Yes, they’re at the wrong house, but they discovered a gas leak at your house. Call the gas company, and whatever you do, don’t dry your hair, don’t use your cell phone, don’t do anything that might cause a spark, or you could blow yourself up.”

Why didn’t I dry my hair first like I always do? Why did the HVAC guys go to the wrong house? God at work!

I carry that faulty gas cap with me everywhere as a testimony and reminder of how God saved my life.
