I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Several months ago, nerve pain increased in my legs. I began taking Tylenol daily to lessen that pain, but it worsened to the point where walking was difficult. Physical therapy helped, but I now use a walker for stability. My husband also uses a walker, so I have good company as we stroll down the hall together to meals and activities.
Recently, arthritis in my right hip caused severe pain, keeping me awake at night. Sometimes, it feels like life throws us curveballs, one right after another. But we find strength in God, no matter what comes our way. We continue to thank him, knowing we are protected and loved by the Creator. “For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10).

Dear Lord, thank you for giving me your strength, so I can enjoy my life as best I can. Amen.
Reflect: Consider the ways God has given you strength and comfort, especially in difficult times.
