… faith apart from works is dead.
James 2:26
Do you know someone who is a caregiver? Then you also know that is a full-time job, 24/7. They might rearrange the living quarters. They might install grab-bars. They might become the home-pharmacist, counting out the meds and also making sure they are taken when prescribed.
Other times we may have the opportunity to be an instant caregiver. It is done to someone you may have never met before or may never see again. Here are a few starters: Hold open the door for a person who is disabled. Offer transportation to someone who no longer is able to drive. Make a home visit (care facility) to someone who has few visitors. Offer to sit with someone as you send birthday cards to their friends and family.
When you become a caregiver, you show Jesus’ compassion.

Gracious Lord, open my eyes and my heart to see the endless opportunities to bless others as You have so blessed me. Amen.
Reflect: In a notebook, record the date, circumstance, and name of the person you showed care to.
