And let us not grow weary of doing good, for … we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9
I used to be a doer, in fact, a super doer. I used to be the pianist, choir director, youth director, Sunday school teacher, food pantry coordinator, and activities director. All that while trying to be a wife and mother to three children under 2 1/2 years of age. What was I thinking?!
I look back at all I accomplished then and feel guilty that at 65, I’m no longer a super doer. I don’t have the energy, health, or even the desire to be a super doer anymore. But the Bible doesn’t say, “Don’t grow weary of doing 100 things at once.” It simply says, “Don’t grow weary of doing good.”
Age has its limitations. Let’s not feel guilty that we can’t do all the things we used to do. Instead, let’s be thankful for all the good we still can do.

Thank You, Father; there is still good I can do for You. Amen.
Reflect: Ask God to guide you in how He wants to use you.
