I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!”
Psalm 122:1
My church home means so much to me. It’s not because it’s the only one where I’ve been a member. It’s the fact that it is my safe haven, my Sunday morning spiritual retreat, my meeting place with loved ones, and the place where I come heart to heart with the Lord.
Having gone to church my entire life, I find it such a pleasing excursion to enter my place of worship, and to share Christ’s body and blood with all the saints that have gone before me and the ones that are beside me.
I revel in the fact that the people with me share in the confession of our sins, the glorifying of our Lord, and the benefits that come from hearing the words of the sermon and the partaking of the Lord’s Supper. What gladness indeed!

Lord, continue to fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may always find joy in entering Your house of worship and my spiritual sanctuary. Amen.
