The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.
Psalm 145:13b
My friend Peggy always wears a necklace when she goes out. It says, “Amazing Grace.”
When she’s standing in line at a supermarket or waiting for a table in a restaurant, she smiles and begins to talk with people around her. When someone notices her necklace, she shares its meaning — how God has been gracious in the rough and smooth times of her life. Depending on the response, she has great joy offering the necklace to a stranger.
“So far, I’ve given 10 away. I always make sure I have a supply at home.”
We may not have the personality or funds to do what Peggy does, but we can follow Ephesians 6:18 and offer others encouragement and prayers. Sometimes our mission is to use words, sometimes a necklace.

Dear Jesus, thank You for opportunities to share Your faithfulness with others. Amen.
Reflect: How can you use a life experience to encourage someone?
