Pastor Paul Shoemaker, a beloved pastor on Worship Anew, is celebrating 30 years on the program on Feb. 11.
Shoemaker is one of six regular pastors on Worship Anew.
He started on the program in 1994. Now retired, he was the pastor at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven, Ind., and in addition to serving at Worship Anew, he still continues to serve the Church in many ways.
Shoemaker has enjoyed his time on Worship Anew and appreciates hearing from those that this message has reached.
“That’s probably one of the most humbling and encouraging things about preaching on Worship Anew is that we do get notes from people affirming what we’ve shared and that really gives you confidence that your messaging is addressing a real need, a true need, a heartfelt need, and that’s always a blessing,” he said.
Shoemaker will celebrate his 30th year on the program on Feb. 11 with his message on the Transfiguration, “Significant Days Ahead.”
The program is available to watch around the country on local stations, public access, and TCT. To see the full listings, visit WorshipAnew.org/programs. It’s also available streaming through the Worship Anew app, on YouTube and Vimeo, and on the Worship Anew website at WorshipAnew.org.
