The Feast Is Ready!

Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost - Sermon Text: Matthew 22:2; Readings: Psalm 23 (KJV); Isaiah 25:6-9; Matthew 22:1-14
In Holy Baptism, God clothed you in the wedding garment of Christ’s righteousness and gave you a seat at His table at the Great Wedding Feast. That table is set with His Word and His Supper. The feast is ready. Come to the table of the Lord and receive the free forgiveness, life, and salvation Christ has won for you.
God Is Good
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
Psalm 107:1a
Life is full of ups and downs that include joyful moments and painful struggles. Yet through everything, one truth remains unshakeable — God is good. His grace and mercy surround us daily, even when we cannot see it or feel it. God’s goodness is not based on our circumstances because it is rooted in His unchanging character. He is always working for our good because He is generous and full of mercy. The goodness of God far surpasses anything that the world has to offer. The wonderful thing about His goodness is that He wants to demonstrate it through us to others.
