“God’s Israel” - Sermon Text: Revelation 7:9-10 - Rev. Shayne Jonker
“They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Only the blood of Jesus will do. Your blood cannot cleanse sin. Nor can the sweat of your labors or the tears of your contrition. There is no such thing as sinless saints, only forgiven ones. If you say you have no sin, you're fooling yourself. Temptations abound, and sin comes all too naturally to the natural born sinner. But the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin.
