“How Much God Has Done” - Sermon Text: Luke 8:38-39 - Rev. Thomas Eggold
In today's reading, after Jesus drove demons out of a man, He told him, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” Christ crossed the lake to restore this man, not only so that the man would be “dressed and in his right mind” but so that this once ostracized and isolated outcast could go home, could be reunited with his family, could rejoin his community and could carry with him a message of “how much God has done” for him. This is what Christ has done for us as well.
